Suppliers invited to hear more about new electronic staff record contract
The Department of Health is to hold a supplier conference next week to highlight the opportunities for companies to provide electronic staff record systems and pension scheme administration services.
The existing contract for the provision of the NHS electronic staff record (ESR) ends on 31 August 2014, and the DH has issued a pre-tender for a framework agreement contract for the services in the OJEU, which it says will include not just the operation of these services, but their ‘transformation’.
This follows a feasibility study into the future of the ESR which recommended ongoing central payment of ESR.
The supplier conference where the new contract will be discussed is on September 18.
