NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) has launched a new online portal to make accessing its suite of framework agreements more efficient.
The free-to-access Customer Framework Agreement Portal gives NHS and public sector organisations a convenient way of procuring solutions in a timely manner.
The portal houses more than 40 framework agreements, acting as a ‘one stop procurement shop’. Users can browse, search, and compare goods, services or suppliers.
“We wanted to make it as simple as possible…”
The portal also allows people to review and download buying guides as well as contract information, which includes price lists, specifications, and lead times.
NHS SBS’s team of experts will also be on hand to answer questions and respond to service requests.
Director of procurement, sustainability and social impact at NHS SBS, Lydia Sullivan, said: “We wanted to make it as simple as possible for the buying community to access goods and services, while maintaining cost and compliance benefits.
“We are excited to announce our new Customer Framework Agreement Portal and proud of its successful launch.”
National Health Executive is set to host an NHS procurement event which will cover everything from supply chain resilience and sustainability, all the way to how the world of digital can improve processes and addressing economic health inequalities.
