EcoOnline Recognised as a Leader in Green Quadrant: EHS Software 2025

EcoOnline has been recognised as a Leader in the Green Quadrant: EHS Software 2025, underscoring its position as an innovative, reliable provider of safety and sustainability solutions. Conducted by Verdantix, a leading independent research firm, this comprehensive assessment is the gold standard of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) software benchmarking. Verdantix tracks over 300 EHS software vendors globally, selecting only 21 for in-depth evaluation and inclusion in this report, now in its ninth iteration. Vendors were assessed across 323 criteria, supported by insights from 301 EHS decision-makers.

Momentum as a Quadrant Leader

EcoOnline achieved significant advancements for both capabilities and momentum in the 2025 Green Quadrant compared to its position in the previous report. While many vendors retained their leadership status, few demonstrated similar upward progression as EcoOnline. Verdantix highlighted EcoOnline for its robust solutions in safety management, AI innovation, and leadership in chemicals management

“EcoOnline’s strong results for momentum—covering areas such as its product roadmap, partnerships, services, and financial stability—give buyers confidence that it is an innovative, long-term partner,” noted Chris Sayers, Industry Analyst at Verdantix. “The growth-oriented provider has expanded its customer base through both organic and inorganic efforts. With a well-established methodology for integrating solutions—starting with UI consistency and connected master data—EcoOnline has continued to develop its capabilities to meet evolving market demands.”

Advancing AI Integration in EHS Software
This year, Verdantix introduced a dedicated AI Integration category, reflecting the growing focus on AI capabilities among buyers and rapid developments in the field. The category assessed both existing features and future plans, with EcoOnline emerging as a top performer. With 46% of EHS decision-makers surveyed by Verdantix identifying AI as a high or highest priority, Verdantix praised EcoOnline’s commitment to leveraging AI for EHS automation—such as its advanced Safety Data Sheet (SDS) indexing, AI Assistant and other automation tools—delivering time and cost savings for customers.

User Interface the Top Consideration for Buyers

User interface (UI) design remains the most influential factor for buyers selecting EHS software, with it being the most common “top consideration” selected by Verdantix survey respondents. With UI being critical for software adoption and safety participation, Verdantix highlighted EcoOnline’s intuitive desktop and mobile UI, noting that “alongside its functional depth, EcoOnline has developed a user interface that offers a high level of consistency and ease of use.”

Integrating EHS and ESG Priorities

The Verdantix report highlighted the importance of interoperability in streamlining data collection and reporting processes across both Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and EHS functions, a critical need as regulatory demands expand. EcoOnline is the only vendor in the Green Quadrant also recognised as a Smart Innovators: Physical Climate Risk Solutions, reflecting its strength in addressing climate risk—a key component of many ESG requirements, including the EU CSRD. EcoOnline provides tools to unify EHS and ESG processes, enhancing data quality and supporting strategic sustainability goals.

Tom Goodmanson, CEO of EcoOnline, commented:

“Being named a Leader in Verdantix’s Green Quadrant underscores our commitment to empowering organisations with innovative solutions to protect both people and the planet. This recognition reflects our mission to harness technology as a force multiplier for change—not just to help businesses meet compliance requirements but proactively leverage their safety and sustainability data as a strategic growth driver for 2025 and beyond.”
