NHS Supply Chain has been recognised as one of the top employers in the country for its dedication to training and developing its workforce.
The organisation has received gold accredited membership in The 5% Club’s esteemed 2024-25 Employer Audit Scheme.
The accolade highlights NHS Supply Chain’s steadfast commitment to nurturing its employees through various 'earn & learn' initiatives, such as apprenticeships, graduate programmes, and professional qualifications. These initiatives are designed to provide hands-on learning experiences, enabling staff to gain practical skills and confidence essential for their professional growth.
A testament to its commitment to education, Gavin Roberts, the Director of Strategy and Business Architecture at NHS Supply Chain, recently completed a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management at Cranfield University’s School of Management, alongside three colleagues. This significant achievement was made possible through the Government-funded Apprenticeship Levy, underscoring the organisation’s dedication to investing in its people.

Looking to the future, NHS Supply Chain has launched its 2025 graduate programme, aiming to recruit 24 graduates this year. This initiative represents the organisation's ongoing commitment to fostering new talent and ensuring a robust pipeline of skilled professionals.
